Thought that I would look in on this Standing Stone, seeing as I was birding in the area. It sits in pasture atop a small hill overlooking Clonakilty Bay & Inchedoney Island. The Farmer has built a wooden fence around it, presumably to protect it from Cattle, rather than to stop it escaping !
The stone itself is 1.9m in height x 0.64 x 0.15 and aligned NE-SW.
